猛暑に堪える木々 vs.エリーの眼差し：Trees Putting up with Broiling Heat vs. Erie’s Eyes
８月２９日(水)の朝と夜中です。

この日も、日中の室外は35℃を超えていました。
The outside temperature rose to 35 ℃ in the daytime that day, too.
「銀杏のギン吉」、「桜並木の桜」の上部が、日差しで、所々、赤茶けていました。
Yoshy could see some places of the top of “Ginkichi of a ginkgo” and “Cherry trees of their avenue” had turned reddish-brown or discolored.
夜中の1:00頃、パソコンに向かうヨッシーに、「もう寝ましょうよ！」と、「足るを知るエリー」がヨッシーの切りのない欲深さを窘(たしな)めています。
Around 1:00 am, Erie was saying Yoshy who was working with PC, “You’d better go to bed, shall we?” – “Rich Erie who has few wants” was reproaching Yoshy’s endless greediness.
「シャープの合併話」、「平家」、「戦中戦後の日本の政治経済」、「より豪華に変貌してゆく田舎の墓」、「２４時間営業はやめましょうと、ニュージーランド首相の談話」…私達の日常は、束の間の夢に囲まれています。
“A news of the merger of Sharp Co. Ltd.”, “The Heike”, “Japanese politics and economics during and after World WarⅡ”, “Local tombs changing into more luxurious”, “We’d better quit working all day long! : the prime minister of New Zealand recently said.” … We’re surrounded with lots of momentary dreams.
宇宙空間で忙しく働く星出さんが、つかの間の休憩時間に地球を見たら、どんな気持ちかな？-帰還するまでは24時間業務ですが。
Mr. Hoshide, an astronaut hectically is working in space now. How does he feel about the small things on the third planet in his short break? – He is working around-the-clock operation, though.
エリーの眼差しはヨッシーに「何が一番大切か」を教えてくれています。- はい、もう寝ましょうね。
Erie’s gentle gaze has taught Yoshy “what is the most important.” – “Yes, you’re right. Let’s go to bed now.”
