岩下神繁先生独吟予定の「逸題」(乃木希典作)ご紹介
岩下先生は、1913(大正2年)7月13日生まれで、白寿です。2007年度の、#1 M-PEC Festival以来、ずっと「詩吟吟詠」をご披露くださっておられます。
Mr. Iwashita was born on July 13th, in 1923 (Taisho-2); he is now 99 years old, which is called “Haku-ju” in Japan. He has recited “Shi-gin: Recitation of Chinese Poems” since #1 M-PEC Festival in 2007.
毎月、ヨッシーにお会い下さるため、(有)志保屋書店へ、「かすがの寿俳句会報」を、お手ずからご持参下さいます。
He has brought monthly “Kasugano Haiku bulletine” to Shihoya Bookstore to meet Yoshy.
10月3日(水)、お電話で、11月18日(日)の「#6 M-PEC Festival」の吟題を何になさるか、お聞き致しました。以下のように、早速英訳してみました。
On Wednesday, October 03, 2012, I called him to ask the title of Shi-gin of this year. He quickly answered as below. Yoshy has rapidly translated it.
「逸題」乃木希典作
崚嶒富嶽聳千秋 （崚嶒<ryosou>たる富嶽 千秋に聳<sobi>え）
赫灼朝暉照八州 （赫灼<kakushaku>たる朝暉<choki> 八洲を照らす）
休説區區風物美 （説くを休<ya>めよ 區區<kuku>たる風物の美を）
地靈人傑是神州 （地霊人傑 是れ神州）

* The reverenced Mt. Fuji is dignified and gallant indeed. Since thousands or ten thousand years ago, rises the peak.
* The rising sun from it is brightly shining on all through this country. This mountain is quite a symbol indeed.
* We do never have to describe various views in one way or another.
* This land is covered with miraculous efficacy and outstanding figures appear one after another, which is why our country should be called Divine Land.
