クリスマスの降雪
クリスマスイブは、その前日夕方から終日雪が降り続きました。
Snowing started from the evening of the day before Christmas Eve to the night.
一枚目の写真は、屋根から南：妙高山方向を撮影しました。右奥が、毎年「LLスピーチコンテスト」、「M-PEC フェスティバル」で使っている「勤研センター」です。
The first picture shows the southern direction, to Mt. Myoko. In the depth of the right, you can see “Kin-ken Center”, where “LL Speech Contest” and “M-PEC Festival” have been held every year.
2枚目は、LLシホヤ新井教室下から文化ホール側のものです。
The second one shows the scene taken from the first floor under LL Shihoya Arai School toward Myoko Cultural Hall.
長い塩ビ管は、屋根の融雪用スプリンクラーからの井戸水です。
The well-water from many sprinklers on the roof is dropping through the long vinyl chloride pipe to melt the snow on the ground.
12月26日(水)も60センチ以上の降雪が予報されています。スイッチを入れるタイミングが難しいです。
Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 26th, a weather forecast says we’ll have over 60 cm-snow falling. It’s now 0:30 am, when we don’t have snow falling yet; it’s difficult for Yoshy to decide the time of switching on the sprinkler.
とてもとても、「ホワイトクリスマス」とは言えません。これから雪の魔人との闘いの始まりです。
It’s ridiculous for us to say “White Christmas”. We’ve started to battle against Snow-genie.
今週は、(木)のPSSクラス以外のレッスンがありませんので、昨日：25日(水)の午後は、年賀状を書いていました。約300枚：多いのか普通なのか…LLシホヤ新井教室の生徒はもちろん、この1年間お世話になった一人一人のお顔が目に浮かびます。
Yoshy need not teach in LL Shihoya Arai School this week except a class of PSS on Wednesday, so Yoshy was writing New Year Cards in the afternoon. 300 cards are more than usual number or less; I have no idea, but I can picture lots of faces, not only my students of LL Shihoya Arai School but also the other lots of friends and people who took care of me in this year.
