エジプトは、今、非常事態です。0:30 am、テレビをつけましたが、予想に反して、NHKは、ウインブルドンの中継をしていました。
The Arab Republic of Egypt is in the midst of crisis mode. Contrary to my expectation, NHK on TV was broadcasting Wimbledon Tennis Championships at 0:30 am.
観光客の目とその国の人たちの目では、同じピラミッドも違って見えるでしょうね。
I’m sure the same pyramids must look different in different circumstances, e.g. for visitors and the people in Egypt.
ヨッシーは、このブログを書くにあたって、チベットの歴史をいかに知らなかったか、唖然としています。
At the start of writing this blog, Yoshy was shocked to find out the hard way that I didn’t know about Tibet so much.
恥ずかしいのですが、知っていた言葉は、「チベット自治区」、「ダライラマ」、そして、「チベット高原」だけでした。
I’m ashamed to write, I knew only three words: “Tibet Autonomous Region”, “The Dalai Lama” and “Tibet plateau”.
チベットのなにもかもご存じだろう原作者も、政治や歴史にはとても触れられなかったのでしょう。何の解説もありません。
The author of these photos should of course know everything about Tibet; however, he/she couldn’t tell or didn’t want to tell its politics and history. Only pictures were sent to one of my friends.
ヨッシーの無知を承知の上で、「世界の屋根」に一緒に圧倒されてみましょう。
