このメールマガジン執筆者は、多分、「実用英検問題を作成なさっておられるネイティヴ先生」だと思いますので、ヨッシーにとっても、このブログの読者にとっても、英文表現の良いお手本になることでしょう。
Since I’m sure the person who wrote below is one of native “teachers of making questions of Eiken in The Society for Testing English Proficiency, Inc. (STEP)”, this kind of essay would be a good example for practicing writing English for both Yoshy and Yoshy’s readers.
LLシホヤ新井教室での実用英検は、従来通り、#2と#3の2回です。今年度は、10月13日(日)と、2014年、1月26日(日)です。
You can take the Eiken twice a year: #2 and #3 in LL Shihoya Arai School as before; the date of #2 Eiken is October 13th (Sun) and #3 is January 26th (Sun), 2014 in this year of 2013.

The weather in the latter half of July was cooler and nicer than usual in the metropolitan area, especially in the morning and after dark.

Even the heat of the daytime was bearable. This led me to do what I do not normally do in the sweltering summer―attempt to thoroughly clean and tidy up my little abode.
