第2回LL英語劇練習報告：Report of the 2nd Practice of LL English Play
8月18日(日)、第2回「LL英語劇：ライオンとなかまたち」の練習に先立ち、1:00-4:00 pm、道具作りをしました。
On Sunday, August 18th; we made some props from 1:00 to 4:00 pm before starting the 2nd practicing of LL English Play: “The Lion and His Friends”.
小6のO君が手伝ってくれて、七夕の竹で「弓」を四張(はり)、「矢」を七筋(すじ)作りました。
A boy-cast in the 6th grade of elementary school, O helped Yoshy. We made 4 bows and seven arrows of bamboo tree we had used at LL Star Festival.
「道具は出来るだけ手づくりで！」がヨッシーの拘(こだわ)りです。
“The prop should be made by hand as possible as we can!” This is one of Yoshy’s persistence.
7名の配役中、6名が出席でした。
The six casts attended out of all the seven.
「イキイキした動作」の中で、英語の台詞がイキイキします。
Their vivid sayings come from “their vivid actions.”
日頃のLLシホヤ新井教室のレッスンでは、「ゲームや、イメージ化したコミュニケーション・プラクティス」が、今日のような練習の基礎になっています。

英語劇の練習そのものが、「英会話学習の基礎」になっています。
And, this practice itself turns into “learning basis of communicative command of English”.
