英語劇練習におもうこと：What Yoshy thought after finishing the 2nd practice of English Play
お陰さまで、8月18日(日)の、第2回英語劇練習は、酷暑の中、1名以外、全員揃って練習ができました。
We could successfully did the 2nd practice of English play with all the cast but one even under such boiling heat on Sunday, August 18th; thank you for your cooperation.
家で自分の台詞を覚えてきた子が低学年の二人でした。
Only two lower grade casts attended here to remember his/her lines.
小道具作りに参加してくれた生徒が一人でした。
Only one boy joined making props with Yoshy.
このご時勢では、英語劇の練習ができること自体、奇跡的です。有り難いことです。
Yoshy has to thank that we can practice such a drama; because it should be miracle to do this in these days.
「目立ちたい！」、「でも、面倒くさい努力は嫌いよ！」の傾向が目立つのは、便利な車、スマホなどのせいではないでしょうか？
“I want myself to stick out!” “But, I hate making troublesome effort!” … The reason this kind of inclination happens might be due to for example, a convenient car, a smartphone, etc, mightn’t it?
このことも、読者諸氏はご存知です。何事もほどほどが大事！
Dear my reader, you know this enough. Everything needs moderation, doesn’t it?
子どもに教育は不可欠ですが、私ごときでは、大人にはほぼ不可能です。M-PEC活動を現在休止しているのは、この理由です。
Education is essential for children, but next to impossible for adults. Yoshy has remembered why I made a pause in enjoying Myoko Powerful English Club (M-PEC).
その日の深夜、エリーと話し合いました。
Yoshy was talking about this problem with Erie that midnight.
エリーの返事は、流し眼で、「ご主人さまの力ではどうにもなりませんよ。明日はきっといい日だと信じて、早く寝ましょうよ！」でした。
Erie replied looking sidelong at me, “My master, you have little control over that. Tomorrow is always fresh and sure is a wonderful day, so we’d better go to bed as soon as possible!”
