LL Garden Under Autumn Sky
女心は秋の空…かな？ 10月29日(火)の日中は小春日和だったのですが、夕方から小雨になっています。
Women are as wavering as autumn-sky, aren’t they? On Tuesday, October 29th, we had an Indian summer, then it began raining kittens and puppies in the evening.
赤蜻蛉(とんぼ)がLLの旗に止まって、上空に、鳶(とんび)が舞っているのが見えるかしら？鳶は、赤とんぼの2時の方角です。
Yoshy hopes you can see a red dragonfly on the top of an LL flag and a kite flying high in the sky? The kite is at the direction of 2 o’clock of the red dragonfly.
「そこから東京が見えるかい？見えたら教えてくれないか、ほーいのほい。」
“Can you see Tokyo from there? If you see, won’t you tell me how Tokyo is? Hey, hey, you!”
LLの庭が土ばかりに。最盛期の7月10日(水)の写真も。土は偉大です！
LL Garden turned into only earth. I attach the picture of that taken on Wednesday, July 10th, when it was at the height of harvest. The soil is as really great as the sea!
「紋黄蝶(もんきちょう)」が、「花はどこ？」と舞っていました。
“An Eastern Pale Colored Yellow: Colias erate” was fluttering to the soil, saying “Where are flowers?”
残っている今年最後の野菜は、「薬味葱(やくみねぎ)」のみに。
The last vegetable we are able to take is only “Yakumi-negi: leeks for spice”.
ご覧の通り、「蒟蒻の根」を掘り出しました。スーパーでは、このサイズで、1個が1,000円近くしています。
“Konjak roots or Arum roots” were dug out of the ground, you see. Each one of this size is sold at a price tag of near 1,000 yen.
LLの庭のラティスには、今年二度目のラズベリーが大きくなっています。降雪までに「よりみちカフェ」のケーキ素材に間に合うかな？
Raspberries are growing twice this year on a lattice in LL Garden. Can we eat and use it for “Yorimichi-Café in Shihoya” by snowing?
Rが韮(にら)の花をドライフラワーにして、LLシホヤ新井教室西側出入り口に飾っています。また、ラベンダーは、来年用に、小さなプラスティックの鉢に分けました。
R made a bunch of dried Oriental garlic the other day and it can be seen at the doorway at the west side of LL Shihoya Arai School. And she planted Lavenders in lots of small plastic-pots for next spring.
Ms. Yがローズマリーをたくさんプレゼントして下さいました。Rがクリスマスのリースに使います。Yさん、ありがとうございます。
R is making some wreaths for coming Xmas season by using lots of Rosemarie Ms. Y presented today. Thanks a lot, Ms. Y!
