ヨッシーの青春時代の奉仕活動とLLシホヤ新井教室行事開催の場の一つ、公民館と市民体育館が撤去されました。
I’m afraid, the Public Hall and the Citizens’ Gym in which Yoshy’s volunteering works and many events of LL Shihoya Arai School were held have been almost pulled down.

解体中は、見たくなくて、エリーとの散歩道を変更していました。
While being broken down, I was too sad to see those scenes, changing usual walking-route with Erie until today.

この日の2:00 pm～4:30、勤研センターで、「食品衛生責任者講習会」を受講してきました。
This day, from 2:00 to 4:30 pm, at Kin-ken Center, Yoshy took attended a lecture for “the food sanitation supervisors”.
(有)志保屋書店の中に、「よりみちカフェ」を営業しているからです。
The reason I did is that we are running “Yorimichi-Café” in Shihoya Bookstore.
勤研センター・ロビーに、「スゲ細工：トナカイ」が展示してありました。LLシホヤ新井教室の「ハロイーン・レッスン」が終わって、次は、「感謝祭」、「クリスマス」…
In the lobby of Kin-ken Center, “some reindeer made of sedge [sέdʒ]” were displayed. “Halloween Time or Lessons” for a week until today have just finished, next are “Thanksgiving Day”, “Happy Christmas”…
釣瓶落としの日々です。長岡の友人も私も、「今年こそは信州でりんご狩りを！」と毎年願ってはいますが…この慌ただしいご時勢実現するかな？
Time is flying like a falling well-bucket these days. Both one of my friends in Nagaoka City and I have looking forward to go picking apples in Nagano, however, we wish we could in such busy days!
同日夜、NHKで、「歴史秘話・クラーク博士 (1826-1886)」の後半に見入ってしまいました。
Yoshy watched a latter part of an NHK TV program, “Secret Story in Japan: Dr. Clark (1826-1886)” in the night of that day; I was very moved by that.
「少年よ大志を抱け」の続き…「この老いた私のように」があったとは知りませんでした。
There was the following of his famous words, “Boys, be ambitious!” It was “like this old man.” Yoshy knew it this time.
ヨッシーも、そう言えるようなレッスンをしてゆきたいという「大志」を持ちたいです！
I hope I am able to say that some day. I.e. I have to keep doing such fine lessons as his, which is my “ambition”!
「食品衛生責任者講習会」の先生は、携帯が鳴る度、居眠りしている人を見つけるたびに、厳しく叱っていました。今のご時勢、大人が大人を叱るって、難しいと思いませんか？彼に敬意を表します。爽やかな良いレッスンでした。
One of the lecturers was often scolding a student whose smart-phone was ringing and some sleeping ones. It is rather difficult for an adult to scold the other adults, don’t you think so? Yoshy respects his actions; his lecture let me refreshed.
