小春日和：白い山並み、人形虫干し：Indian Summer：White Mountain Range, Airing
三日か四日は別として、「三寒四温」のこの頃です。11月14日(木)は、終日「小春日和」でした。
Setting three days or four aside, we are now in “alternation of three cold days and four warm days”. On Thursday, November 14th, it was “a balmy autumn day” all day long.
Rと学校へ「書き初め用紙」を配達に行きました。
Yoshy and R visited some elementary schools to deliver “packs of paper of calligraphy for the New Year”.
斐太南小からの南葉山が間近に見えて、重倉林道も中腹に見えました。30年ほど前、「自然に親しむ会」で、散策したことがあります。
We could look so closely at Mt. Namba from Hida-minami Elementary School that could see Shigekura path on the middle foot of it, too. Yoshy has walked on the path as a member of “The Circle to Become Close to Nature” about three decades ago.
斐太地区は直江津方向に広々とした田圃(たんぼ)が広がっています。美味しい米の産地です。
As you see, there is large rice-field in this Hida-area spreading to Naoetsu. It is famous for producing good rice.
長岡方向に、米山も見えました。
We could see Mt. Yone-yama toward Nagaoka, too.
午後、3回目の「教室の人形の虫干し」をしました。人形がたくさんあるでしょう。寒がりのエリーも喜んで日向ぼっこしていました。
In the afternoon, some stuffed dolls in LL Shihoya Arai School were aired under barmy sunshine, which was third time; hum … we’ve got so many dolls in LL Room. Erie, cold natured dog was delighted to bask in the sun.
