A Square piece of Fancy Paper presented by Mr. Masui
Dr. Junji Masui (one of supporters of M-PEC, 89) was kind enough to present Yoshy his *self-written waka-poem, which is a 31-*syllable Japanese poem on “*a square piece of fancy paper.”
<self-written:自筆の> <syllable:音節> <a square piece of fancy paper:色紙>
Some days ago (Sun. December 15th), Yoshy introduced my contribution, “Is English a subject in school?” in this blog. He had read it on Joetsu Times *dated November 29th; indeed very honor for me, he moved so much that he made this waka-poem including his impression of “*present social situation”.
<~dated…:…
Originally he doesn’t like to show his faces, his own written fancy papers, etc on a picture. So I’m sorry let me introduce his poem in *cold printing type.

BTW, all of the roofs of our residence, store, LL Shihoya Arai School, etc were checked just before coming heavy-snow days last Wednesday, December 18th.
“Haneuma, Black Prancer in the early winter” was seen that day.
