江浚いとLL畑の畝作り：
Cleaning Agricultural Waterway & Cultivating LL-garden

4月20日(日)、朝8:00から1時間半、町内の江浚い(えさらい：水路掃除)でした。
Sunday morning, from 8:00 am on April 20th, some people in Kanmachi-area cleaned the ditch of *irrigation channels for around one hour and a half.

忙しいご時勢で、ご近所同士が顔を合わせて世間話が出来ることも、余禄です。
In these busy days, It was one of *extra profit to be able to have an opportunity of chatting face-to-face.

勤研センター北側の「樫(かし)の木の団栗(どんぐり)を踏んで転んで怪我をする子供がいるかもしれないので、拾ってはどうか？」と提案なさった方がおられました。
One of us suggested us to pick up all acorns of an oak tree growing at the north-side of Kin-ken Center, because some kids might fall down getting injured by stepping on them.
木登りやターザンごっこしたヨッシー世代以上には思いがけないご提案でした。
The person’s suggestion was unexpected or beyond my imagination for the other old aged adults including Yoshy, who used to climb trees, *swing on vines in our childhood.

拾っているうちに、「まあ、ほどほどにしておきましょう！」で…。過保護だと言葉に出したら、気まずい雰囲気になります。みなさまはどう思われます？
While picking up or cleaning them, most people said, “Well, shall we do *in moderation?” … If someone should have said, “Does this work mean an overprotected kids?”; the atmosphere would be *awkward. How do you think this small *incident?

同日9:30 am～11:00ころ、ヨッシーの新井中当時からの同級生のU氏が、今年もLLの畑を耕してくれました。有難う！
From 9:30 to about 11:00 that day, Mr. U who is one of Yoshy’s classmates in our Arai J/H School helped me cultivate LL-garden this year, too. Thank you very much.

新パソコンとイースターレッスン開始：
Bought a new PC & Easter lessons Started

4月21日(月)、志保屋書店で使っていたパソコンのOSがXPでした。大きな画面も欲しかったので、NECのバリュースター、Win-8.1 に買い換えました。画面が見やすくなって、主に使うRは満足しています。
On Monday, April 21st, R and Yoshy replaced our aging personal computer whose OS was Win-XP into “NEC Valuester, Win-8.1”. As we recently wanted a bigger display of PC, R is satisfied with it a lot.
LLシホヤ新井教室では、(月)から、「イースター・ゲーム」をレッスン中に英語で楽しんでいます。
BTW, LL-students of LL Shihoya Arai School started “a special time of their lessons: Easter Games” from Monday in this week.
(月)の生徒たちは、Rが作ってくれた「人参と胡桃とカシスのケーキ」に大喜び！…ラッキーでしたね。
It must have been unexpectedly happy for the students on Monday who was presented “a cassis cake mixed with carrot and walnut”. They seemed to feel great joy! Hum…You were lucky, weren’t you?
